Felicity Redgrave

Canadian, 1920

Felicity was born in Sussex England in 1920 to Sir Cyril and Olive Fox.
She and her husband Patrick moved to Canada during WW11 when Pat was transferred from the Royal Navy to the Royal Canadian Navy. They raised their family together in Oakville and then in a century farmhouse near Guelph. After receiving a BFA from the University of Guelph and a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, she and Patrick relocated to Nova Scotia where her teaching career culminated in her position as a faculty member of St. Xavier University.
Felicity was a passionate supporter of the arts and had a rewarding and impressive career as a visual artist. She was a founding member of Visual Arts Nova Scotia and the NS Printmakers Association. She was inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts in 2008. Her work has been shown across Canada and is held in many private and public collections.
