Marianne Gerlinger

Born in Germany, Marianne Gerlinger’s paintings reference flowing lines, contrasts of light and shadow, and the use of metaphors. She studied at the University of Alberta and the Alberta College of Art and Design. Gerlinger has completed invitational residencies in the Netherlands, Banff, Slovenia, and China.
Her art has been shown in international exhibitions and collected in international public and private collections. Gerlinger’s paintings have been shown in the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery exhibitions “Orange and Black” (1987) and “Imagined Space” (2016).
