Rufus Moody
A member of the Haida Tanu Wolf Clan, Rufus Moody hailed from a family of renowned carvers including his father Arthur Moody and his grandfather Thomas Moody. Moody himself was known for his argillite carvings and for his commitment to teaching traditional techniques and visual motifs to younger artists. He was a 1976 recipient of the Order of Canada.
