Sakkiassee Anaija

Sakkiassee Anaija was a sculptor from Taloyoak (Spence Bay), NU. He was born in the Netsilik area of the Northwest Territories in 1913. His brother, Eli Inukpaluk (Igjookjuak), was also a prominent sculptor in the 1960s. Anaija’s works have been exhibited throughout Canada and in the United States.
