Dorothy Chisholm
Dorothy Chisholm is a Scottish-born Canadian artist who has lived in Calgary since 1970. She paints in oils and draws using pastels to convey her love of nature. Each of her artworks attempts to reproduce seasonal beauty and establish a strong sense of tangible place.
Chisholm has studied with artists across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Her works have been shown in solo and group shows across North America with collections across Canada holding her work. She is a member of the Society of Canadian Artists, the Leighton Art Centre, the Federation of Canadian Artists, Oil Painters of America, Pastel Artists Canada, and the Visual Arts Association of Alberta.
